Girls Inc. Alliance

The Girls Inc. Alliance (GIA) was founded in 1995 by a dynamic group of dedicated and community-minded women who sought to volunteer their time in support of Girls Incorporated of Metro Denver (GIMD). They created a fundraising auxiliary to assist Girls Inc. in fundraising in order to offer programs and opportunities for girls and young women in our community.

Today, their vision has surpassed even their wildest dreams. For more than 16 years, GIA has grown to over 400 members, provided countless volunteer hours and contributed over $3.5 million dollars in support of GIMD.

Alliance members are the core organizers of many signature events that benefit GIMD. These events include Membership, Margaritas and Mojitos (our annual membership drive), Girls and Guys Night Out (our major fundraiser), Summer Carnival, Spring Prom and many more. Revenue from these events, contributes nearly 18% of GIMD's annual budget.

Donate A Backpack To A Girl

Be a sponsor of a backpack given out each year to Girls Inc. girls and young women at our Summer Carnival event. These backpacks are filled with all sorts of new school supplies and goodies to help our girls start the school year off right. Backpack donations are $35 per backpack. Alliance Signature Events

Membership, Margaritas & Mojitos
Membership, Margaritas and Mojitos is the annual membership event for the Girls Inc. Alliance. It is an evening filled with delicious appetizers and numerous opportunities to learn more about all the exciting ways one can be involved with Girls Inc. during the year.

Alliance Spring Prom
Our energetic Junior Alliance, founded in 2008 for women under the age of 35, will host the Girls Inc. Alliance Spring Prom event. It is an evening for Alliance members and their guests to come out and enjoy this prom-themed event filled with gorgeous corsages, fun music and yummy desserts. This event is not to be missed!

Summer Carnival
Each summer the Alliance hosts a fun-filled carnival event for the girls of Girls Inc. There will be games, prizes, face painting, snow cones and much more! Each girls will enjoy an afternoon of snacks, fun and friendship. At the end, the girls will get to take home their very own Girls Inc. backpacked stocked with school supplies for the coming school year.

Girls and Guys Night Out
Girls and Guys Night Out is the premier event of Girls Inc. of Metro Denver and is hosted by the Girls Inc. Alliance. Held in the late fall, this event tops Denver's must-attend list. Girls and Guys Night Out is an evening of food, fun and headline comedic entertainment.
