Our mission is to meet the needs of girls and young women in the community; to help them develop their capacity to be self-sufficient, responsible citizens; to serve as a vigorous advocate, focusing attention on their special needs; and to inspire all girls to be STRONG, SMART, & BOLD.SM
Process to Become a Volunteer
Interested individuals must take the following steps to be considered as a volunteer:
1) Submit an application (Click here for a list of current opportunities).
2) Complete an interview.
3) Complete a background check (All potential volunteers are asked to contribute $10-$20 to offset the fee to process their background check).
NOTE: Volunteers under the age of 18 will not need to complete a background check; instead they will be required to complete a Teen Membership Application.
4) Attend a mandatory 2-day Orientation and Training prior to the start of service.
Girls Inc. of Metro Denver supports Service Learning in education and will work with students needing to complete service hours.
