The Alliance Annual Meeting was held Thursday, September 14, 2006, at Cherry Hills Country Club. This event is the general business meeting for the Alliance where we celebrate successes of the current year and elect our slate of officers for the upcoming year. This year's co-presidents, Hillary Adams and Melinda Dark led the meeting and the executive board for the 2007 calendar year was unanimously approved with Hilary Johnson and Karen Wheeler as incoming co-presidents.
Linda Hantman, Lianne Martin, and Lauren Naylor chaired the event. This year's speaker, Monica Garcia Pleiman, is Chairman and CEO of Optimum Management Services, Ltd, and the founder of Latino Suave Magazine. She was truly inspirational and reinforced why the Alliance is so necessary and appreciated for its work on behalf of Girls Inc. of Metro Denver.
