Concert for Kids
Each year, the Concerts For Kids Community Day brings hundreds of volunteers together to complete a combined 5,000 hours of work in one, six-hour day. Teams of volunteers are dispersed to pre-selected non-profits within the Metro area to complete multiple facility improvement projects, including painting, landscaping, cleaning, roofing, carpeting and much more. By providing this community service to the organizations, we allow them the freedom to use their budgets for more important needs, like staffing and programming. The 5th Annual Community Day was held on May 22, 2010, and was the biggest year yet as Concerts For Kids benefited 306,139 children and their families at over 40 non-profit sites within Denver. With help from 540 volunteers, the total value of labor, supplies and monetary giving came to $270,109 – an amazing number for one volunteer day!

Concerts For Kids mission is to enrich the lives of children by providing access to the best healthcare and education available. Through both monetary and in-kind donations, we strive to help children faced with life-threatening illnesses live better lives and to provide all students with the opportunity to participate in educational programs in a safe environment that will help them grow.
