My Favorite Quote: Sometimes it's the very people who no one imagines anything of who do the things no one can imagine.
Why I'm A Girls Inc. of Metro Denver Volunteer: I grew up down the block from Girls Inc., only attending one time that I recall. Help was only a block away, but it felt unreachable. As I was considering places to volunteer/intern, Girls Inc. was foremost in my mind. I am pursuing volunteer work at Girls Inc. for very deep, personal reasons, but also because I am being prompted by my education to do so. It is the nudge I needed to reach for my dreams of volunteering and giving back despite fears of inadequacy.
