Ms. Ulibarri transitions to the role on January 3, 2012 after the departure of Carol Bowar, former President & CEO at GIMD. Ms. Bowar is embarking on a new adventure with her family, living abroad in Australia. After 11 years working at GIMD, Ms. Bowar leaves behind a strong legacy and foundation within the community, constituents, volunteers and donors of GIMD – a foundation that Ms. Ulibarri and her staff will continue to build upon with her many years of non-profit experience.
