Why We Love Bobbie Briceno: Bobbie has been a volunteer in the Youth Center three days a week since September 2009. She is a volunteer leader in the 3rd grade group and she also does administrative work for the Youth Center staff. She has been taking on more responsibility in her tutoring group as the sessions have progressed and next session she will be in charge of 3rd grade tutoring and the volunteers in her group. Bobbie is very comfortable with leading the students and conversing with them. She is also comfortable with whatever responsibilities requested of her. The girls ask to have Bobbie help them with their homework and she knows a number of techniques applicable to increasing their abilities. One of the girls recently told us that she loves homework days because Miss Bobbie always makes learning fun. Bobbie, thank you for all you do!!
