|Why We Love Amy Onwudinanti: One word: authentic. Amy came to Girls Inc. last fall as a work study tutor at CU Denver. She is currently an engineering major and plans to eventually study biomedical engineering. She uses her math and science skills to not only assist Middle School Programs girls with their homework, but also to assist instructors in our STEM Saturday and Eureka! Programs. Amy connects with our girls in a unique way and we are grateful for her willingness to help as needed and her openness to trying new things. Fun fact: Amy plays drums and bass guitar!|
Who's The STRONGest Person You Know: I'm sure every other person says this, but my mum. Seriously. I honestly don't think anyone else could have made it through the things she did. My mum has sacrificed so much just to give me a comfortable life, even if that meant being uncomfortable herself.
What's The SMARTest Thing You Have Ever Heard: The only way failing is possible is if you don't even make an attempt. As long as you put 110% in every attempt, you're good. Every attempt is a learning experience.
What's The BOLDest Thing You Have Ever Done: Skateboarding. Every aspect of it is bold. You're not always 100% sure if you're going to land that next trick.
