Lauren Gorence

Teen Center Program Assistant
"Always trust your instincts and never think that you need to conform to social norms."
Why We Love Lauren Gorence: "I am thankful to have Lauren in my class for many reasons. She always comes in with a good attitude and brings positive energy into the room. The girls connect with her on my levels. Not only does she work well with the group but I also enjoy her company too! There have been days when I am not as organized as I should be and Lauren will step up and direct the class, help me get prepared, or just make me laugh. Thank you for your time and dedication. You are definitely strong, smart and bold!"

Who's The STRONGest Person You Know: My mom. She was a single mom that through financial ups and downs was always able to make the best of everything. She is the perfect role model. She taught me to be a strong, independent woman.

What's The SMARTest Thing You Have Ever Heard: "Be true to yourself." It is important to never lose sight of your beliefs, goals and aspirations in life. Always trust your instincts and never that that you need to conform to social norms."

What's The BOLDest Thing You Have Ever Done: Definitely applying to med school. After 2 years of being out of school, I decided to do something drastic and go back and get my science classes done and fly all the way to L.A. to apply to one school. Through my perseverance and determination I can now say that I was admitted to the USC PA Program.
