| Why We Love Adelita Romero: Since June 2009, Adelita has made a 3-day a week commitment to our Youth Center as a Program Assistant. We find this remarkable considering she is a mother, attends classes at a local university and works full-time. She has strong initiative when she is working with the girls and other staff. She is very approachable and has great conversational skills. The girls recognize and trust her not only because of her three day a week commitment to volunteer, but also because of her strong personality.
Who's The STRONGest Person You Know: The STRONGest person I know would have to be my great-grandma Francis. She is 103 years old. WOW, that's amazing! She is the last living widow from WWI. Not only has she held her strength for many years, she has never changer her sweet yet fiesty personality and lives each day with a positive attitude!
What's The SMARTest Thing You Have Ever Heard: The SMARTest thing I have ever done was to find a career in something I am passionate about and really enjoy, so it will never feel like work.
What's The BOLDest Thing You Have Ever Done: The BOLDest thing I have ever done was to study abroad in Cuernavaca Mexico for an entire summer.
