In partnership with the Eureka! STEM intern program, Morning Star applied to participate in an Archaeological Teen Internship for the Denver Museum of Nature and Science during the summer of 2018.
The Magic Mountain excavation, which lay on indigenous lands, provided Native teens an opportunity to get their hands dirty, and learn many archaeological techniques through the internship program.
