Girls Inc. High School and College staff help girls reach their full potential. Through intentional, research-based programs, Girls Inc. high school & college girls learn skills to be healthy, independent, and successful adults.  At Girls Inc., girls receive year round, academic support and participate in exclusive community trips and events. Staff also delivers programs during school or after school virtually. Girls Inc. of Metro Denver is recommended by Denver Public Schools for workshop delivery.

Girls Inc. also provides support during the transition into post secondary education. In addition to our college preparedness workshops and college women’s group, Girls Inc. of Metro Denver offers $50,000 in scholarships each year.

2021 Summer High School Internship Applications Open!

This year, the Girls Inc. Summer Internship Program is back in-person and we are looking for outstanding intern candidates to help us make summer programs a success, while learning important professional skills and getting paid! New or current Girls Inc. girls are encouraged to apply, current 8th-12th graders are eligible to participate. Applications are due at 5pm on Tuesday, April 20th.

Leadership Out Loud

Leadership Out Loud is a three-year, immersive, hands-on, and engaging leadership program for girls to build and practice advocacy skills, grow their networks, and incorporate learning into girl-led initiatives. Through participation in Leadership Out Loud, girls will continue to develop the skills, experience, and confidence to advocate for themselves and others at the local, state, and national levels. Each year of Leadership Out Loud has summer and school year program activities. Girls Inc. of Metro Denver welcomes girls and gender non-conforming youth to apply who will benefit from building stronger relationships with peers and enjoy an in-depth learning experience. Applicants should have an interest or motivation to explore advocacy and must be entering 9th, 10th or 11th grade in Fall 2021. REVISED SUMMER 2021 CAMP DATES: July 25 – July 31st, 2021

Healthy Sexuality Series

Beginning February 8 through March 15, 2021 Join Girls Inc. of Metro Denver’s healthy sexuality series. Learn important information about sexual health and healthy relationships with our brand new virtual video and discussion series! Watch videos, join the discussion, or both – it’s up to you! This series is open to any and all students of any gender identity in the community – 7th grade and older.

Broncos Empowerment Summit

The Denver Broncos featured Girls Inc. of Metro Denver in their Empowerment Summit Digital Learning Series, a digital program providing access to resources for personal and professional development for high school-aged female students. All sessions aimed to provide young women with skills and tools to benefit them today and in the future.

Note: Programs require nominal fees. Fees are based on a sliding scale – no girl is ever turned away because of inability to pay.
