Girls Inc. of Metro Denver, CBS Colorado, and Denver Museum of Nature & Science are teaming up again this year to deliver the 10th Annual Girls & Science, a month-long program in March filled with activities and events designed to expose girls to careers in science, technology, engineering, and math. We’ll be offering Girls & Science-themed activity kits through our social enterprise, Girls thINC Outside the Box.

Girls & Science Takeover of 2nd Saturday at CSU Spur

2nd Saturdays at CSU Spur are FREE and open to the public for family-friendly programming, including cooking activities in the CSU Spur kitchen, opportunities to watch veterinarians perform surgery on dogs and cats, opportunities, play in a kid’s kitchen and vet clinic, and much more!
Girls & Science Community Conversation
CBS Colorado will stream a Girls & Science Community Conversation on Thursday, March 14th at 7 PM on CBS News Colorado. The conversation will feature female mentors who will share their experiences in STEM fields with Girls Inc. of Metro Denver’s youth participants.

CBS Colorado will stream a Meet the Mentor special on Thursday, March 21st at 7 PM on CBS News Colorado. The special will highlight Girls & Science female mentors and their careers in STEM. More details to come.

About GIRLS thINC Outside the Box
Girls thINC Outside the Box is a social enterprise of Girls Inc. of Metro Denver. Through this program, we are able to deliver the Girls Inc. Experience right to you on a quarterly schedule. Activities are designed for girls aged 6-10 years old and each kit contains rich literature and immersive, hands-on activities, that encourage girls to tap into their inner strengths and explore new concepts all from home!
